Clavaria tenuipes Berk. & Broome Hjem
©Per Fadnes
Clavaria tenuipes is clearly clavate and grows normally a few fruit bodies together. The stem is thinner and clearly separated from the rest of the fruit body. It is light grayish in color and eventually becomes more cream and hollow when it is older.
Ecology/Indicator-value Clavaria tenuipes is only found a few places in Norway, normally in grasslands but it is also found on burned fields. It was previously red list listed as near threatened, but is today placed the category data deficient (DD). This may also be a complex of several species, but has be investigated further. Both ecology and indicator value are therefore unknown, but it is clearly very rare.
