Entoloma caesiocinctum is recognized  by its serrulated gill-edge and brownish colours on hat and stem.

Up to 40 mm, brown to yellow-brown with darker (bluish) center

White to gray-pink with blue to black serrulated sterile gill-edge.

Spores 8.5-11.5 µm.

 Up to 50x5 mm Brownish-grey to yellow-brown, fibrillose.

E. serrulatum but it has blue to black cap.

Ecology/Indicative value:

Not among the most common red-spores in South-Western Norway. Normally growing in grasslands with many other rare and red-listed mushrooms. May therefore probably be a good indicator of rich and valuable grasslands.

Fructification in Norway: From end of July to beginning of October, mainly in September.
