Entoloma dichroum is a characteristic pinkgill with blue fibrillose stem and light violet-brown scaly cap.

Up to 40 mm conical then convex centrum. Blue then violaceous blue to brown, minutely scaly.

Ecology/indicator-value:
Entoloma dichroum is a relatively rare pinkgill that usually grows in deciduous forest. In South-Western Norway, it was found in forest between Pteridium aquilinum in close proximity to grasslands.

 

Fructification in Norway: Few findings in Norway, mainly in September
