Entoloma prunuloides is a light grey-brown fleshy tricholoma like pinkgill that differs from other pinkgills found in unfertilized grasslands. A good feature is the farinaceous smell.

Ecology/indicator value:

Entoloma prunuloides is a rather rare pinkgill that grows in old pastures, preferably in calcareous areas. It is a very good indicator of such biotopes and grows often in localities with many other rare and red-listed fungi.

Fructification in Norway: From beginning of June to end of October, mainly in September.
