Ramariopsis subtilis is an up to 3-4 cm tall club-fungus with white to gray-white colors. It is thick at base but branches into thinner structures. The spores are usually smooth with a size of about four μm.

 

Ecology/indicator-value

R. subtilis often grows in dry hills in unfertilized grasslands together with other rare and red-listed species and is probably a good indicator.

 

Fructification in Norway: From end of July to medio November.
