(Clavulinopsis corniculata) (Schaeff.:Fr.) Corner

Clavulinopsis corniculata is a relatively common club-fungus in grasslands. It is the only species in this genus with branched fruit bodies, and is thus easy to distinguish from the others in the field. The color is yellow to yellowish brown up to 7 cm long and 0.4 cm wide.

C. corniculata is relatively common in grasslands and have little indicator-value.

 

Fructification in Norway: From beginning of August til end of October, mainly in September.
