Clavulinopsis laeticolor is a relatively
common club-fungus in grasslands. Although it does not occur as often as the
other yellow species of the same genus. The species can be difficult to
distinguish in the fields since they are quite similar.
The fruit body is
narrowly cylindrical, often somewhat depressed and tapering towards the tip.
It has a size up to 6cm x 4mm. The spores are ellipsoid with a distinct
apiculus.
Ecology/Indicatorvalue
C. laeticolor is
relatively common in grasslands and have no indicatorvalue.
Fructification in Norway: From end of August to beginning of November.
